Lana Kane

Lana Kane is ISIS's top agent (when Archer isn't stealing her thunder) and the only competent professional in the building. A Berkeley graduate with a degree in Environmental Science, she chose espionage over academia. She's Archer's on-again-off-again girlfriend, eventual mother of his daughter Abbyjean, and the show's moral compass.

Lana's competence is a running joke — she's better than Archer at almost everything (marksmanship, tactics, languages, emotional intelligence) but constantly overshadowed by his narcissism and Malory's favoritism. Her massive hands are a recurring visual gag.

Over the series, Lana evolves from Archer's frustrated ex to a mother balancing espionage with parenthood, eventually becoming the most grounded character. Her relationship with Cyril Figgis (engaged, broken up, complicated) and eventual co-parenting with Archer form major arcs.
