Cyril Figgis

Cyril Figgis began as ISIS's comptroller — a nervous, sexually compulsive accountant who desperately wanted to be a field agent. His transition to field agent (mostly due to staffing shortages) is a masterclass in comedic failure: he chokes, cries, accidentally shoots people, and somehow occasionally succeeds through sheer luck.

Cyril's sex addiction is treated with surprising nuance — it's a genuine compulsion that ruins his relationships (especially with Lana) and leads to therapy arcs. His brief tenure as President of San Marcos (Season 5) is a highlight, showing he can be competent when the chaos matches his internal state.

Despite being the butt of every joke, Cyril has moments of genuine heroism and unexpected competence. His relationship with Lana is the show's most stable (relatively speaking) romance, though it ends in Season 10.
